That water can wick up under the shingles and soak into the roof underlayment. eventually saturating the roof sheathing, holding moisture against the wood and speeding rot. This can also cause serious, unhealthy mold growth on interior room surfaces. in severe cases it can cause the structural roof framing to decay!

We use a proprietary moss killing product that is organic, 100% natural and will not harm your landscaping, animals, children or ground water. This product is applied to your roof peaks and under vents. As the rain comes, the product is washed down the roof. The moss naturally soaks up the moisture and the product along with it. Within a short time you see the moss turning brown. The process is working but not complete...yet, remember moss is stubborn, at this point it's damaged and in the process of dying but you must continue to apply product throughout the growing season. Once summer hits the sun will do the rest and the roots will release their tight hold on your roofing material. August and Septmeber we then can sweep the moss off without any damage to your roof. Now we apply product again to prevent the growth of moss. Keeping your roof clean of debris and applying our killing product twice a year will keep your roof moss free.
